Tyndall’s pharmacy will fill all new (paper & electronic) and refill prescriptions for active duty service members, active duty dependents, and retirees and their families. To reduce your wait time, all electronic prescriptions should be activated before arriving to the pharmacy by calling 850-283-7757. With exception to active duty service members, all prescriptions will have a three duty day turnaround time for pick-up unless needed sooner based on the judgment from a pharmacist. Hard copy prescriptions can be dropped off at the pharmacy window or at the drop box at the front of the clinic. Pharmacy will continue to fill all refilled that are called into 850-283-7177. Turn around time for refill pickup is three duty days.
A mask is required to enter the facility and the lobby requires appropriate social distancing. The pharmacy is busiest at 8:00 a.m. and around lunch time so we recommend you plan your visit to minimize waiting.
TRICARE Formulary Search Tool
Use the TRICARE Formulary Search Tool to look-up your drug. A search can tell you:
- Formulary status (generic drug, brand-name drug, non-formulary drug, non-covered drug)
- Where the prescription can be filled
- Copayments and limitations, such as prior authorization
- Coverage review requirements and forms
- Alternative medications, including costs
To start your search, you’ll need to put in the brand name or generic name of the drug and then select the strength prescribed, as well as your gender and age.
