Immunizations
Tyndall’s Immunizations Department provides routine immunizations on a walk-in basis, limited to support against Influenza, Hepatitis A/B, Tetanus/TDAP/TD, Polio, Varicella, MMR, Pneumonia, HPV, Meningitis and Tuberculosis Testing/PPD. Japanese Encephalitis, Rabies, Typhoid and Anthrax are also available, if required. This service is active duty only.
Influenza Vaccine Update
Flu season is upon us. We are concerned about your health and encourage everyone to get vaccinated annually against influenza.
It’s critical that everyone who is able receives a flu vaccine. It’s essential that active duty service members, active duty family members and other beneficiaries are well-protected from influenza.

Active Duty Service Members (ADSMs):
Active duty and Guard/Reserve members are required to get the flu vaccine.
- Vaccine is available for all ADSMs
- Immunization is open from walk ins 0730-1130 and 1300-1600
- Immunizations clinic located in building 1465A (TPF)
When you get a flu vaccine from anywhere besides Tyndall AFB, follow your Service policy guidance for recording the vaccine in your shot record. You'll need the following information:
- The date the vaccine was given
- The vaccine name or code
- Manufacturer
- Lot number
All Other Beneficiaries
The flu vaccine is currently only available for ADSMs. Dependents and retirees can go to https://militaryrx.express-scripts.com/find-pharmacy to find a participating TRICARE-network pharmacy.
Other Options for Getting the Flu Vaccine
If you’re unable to get the flu vaccine here, you can visit any participating network pharmacy or TRICARE-authorized (civilian) provider. Visit www.tricare.mil/flu to learn more.
