The most recent appropriations for the Department of War expired at 11:59 p.m. EST on September 30, 2025. Military personnel will continue in a normal duty status without pay until such time as a continuing resolution or appropriations are passed by Congress and signed into law. Civilian personnel not engaged in excepted activities will be placed in a non-work, non-pay status.

During this partial government shutdown, the 325th Medical Group remains open and continues to honor scheduled medical and dental appointments. Our patient appointing service is open and we're still taking requests for appointments. We're doing our best to minimize impact on our beneficiaries and their health care. The clinic’s Primary Care and Specialty Care services are fully operational. Ancillary services (pharmacy, laboratory, radiology) also remain operational. As always, safe and high-quality health care remain our priority. Please call (850) 283-2778 to schedule or cancel appointments. Influenza Vaccine Update

Flu season is upon us. We are concerned about your health and encourage everyone to get vaccinated annually against influenza.

It’s critical that everyone who is able receives a flu vaccine. It’s essential that active duty service members, active duty family members and other beneficiaries are well-protected from influenza.

Please see the guidance below for getting the flu vaccine here at Tyndall AFB.

Active Duty Service Members (ADSMs):

Active duty and Guard/Reserve members are required to get the flu vaccine.

  • Vaccine is available for all ADSMs
  • Immunization is open from walk ins 0730-1130 and 1300-1600
  • Immunizations clinic located in building 1465A (TPF)

When you get a flu vaccine from anywhere besides Tyndall AFB, follow your Service policy guidance for recording the vaccine in your shot record. You'll need the following information:

  • The date the vaccine was given
  • The vaccine name or code
  • Manufacturer
  • Lot number

All Other Beneficiaries

The flu vaccine is currently only available for ADSMs. Dependents and retirees can go to https://militaryrx.express-scripts.com/find-pharmacy to find a participating TRICARE-network pharmacy.

Other Options for Getting the Flu Vaccine

If you’re unable to get the flu vaccine here, you can visit any participating network pharmacy or TRICARE-authorized (civilian) provider. Visit www.tricare.mil/flu to learn more.
