Saving a life, as simple as a swab

TYNDALL AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. — Tyndall Air Force Base and other local bases are slated to host the “DoD Marrow Donor Registration Event for Noah” on base, Aug. 9-13, 2021. The contactless registration will be available at most squadrons and the Base Exchange.

Health Protection CHARLIE, Fitness Center: What You Need to Know

Concerns caused by an increase in COVID-19 cases on base and in the local area led Tyndall Air Force Base officials to implement Health Protection Condition CHARLIE on Aug. 3, to help mitigate exposure while also continuing Team Tyndall’s mission.

Every 52 minutes in the U.S. someone dies in a drunk driving crash. All of these deaths are preventable. Drive Sober.

Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over: Avoiding DUIs Saves Lives

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, every day roughly 28 people die in accidents involving drivers who were under the influence or while intoxicated. That statistic equates to about one loss of life every 52 minutes.
